Meant to bid myself but got distracted. There's another on the bay for ยฃ1700 c. currently, again an odd finish time but I'd be surprised if it doesn't break ยฃ2k.

An edition of 50 for the Variant, which it seems like people prefer (I love it!) is still a relatively small release. I wouldn't be surprised if these still went up as the availability will dry up. After having it in my home, pictures just do it no justice, its a stunning piece and I was hesitant about keeping it until I saw it in person and then on my wall. |

I can see a lot of the bidders are the same, which could be some people bumping but equally some of the same people interested I guess.

Therefore it hasn't been completed outside ebay and the hammer price is there for all to see. Sometimes though, if the high bid was a shill bid or a price hyper who doesn't intend to pay then you might see the same item being relisted a bit further down the line.
