i guess you're under the impression that MBW actually makes the art. He employs artists to steal ideas from other artists and then create work for him. The only time MBW picks up a paint brush is to splatter paint on his pants and shoes because that what he thinks makes him look like an artist.

I personally like few image of MBW, Never Give Up print is my favourite (and I own it).. all other images are of low interest IMO

Isnt the point to make money when flipping? Why bother buying it if your selling it at cost? Anyway, I liked this print. I think it will look great on someones wall and if they are a big comic book fan of either of these guys. |

The new Whatson thread is a whopping 1 page, with only 9 replies, virtually all negative.
I think most here think MBW s*cks. I certainly do. His choice of images, and execution, is weak. It strikes me as the work of a very shallow person, laughing all the way to the bank.
MBW reminds me of either the type of art you'd see in one of those galleries where the "artist" pays to have a show, or one of those poster / art shops that sell generic framed work.
But some will see him as an inspiration. Like maybe Alec Monopoly and TABBY, to name two.
To paraphrase recent postings, F*ck Art Let's Market.

Todays artists often rip off images and trends of the past decades.
Just watch some videos of artists like Hirst etc being interviewed. They make dull seem interesting.
You are good at criticising.

Imo Lets face it, there is not much to like about Brainwash if viewing his public persona. (i'm sure in reality he is a nice guy) His public persona comes across as an opportunist only interested in makin a fast buck, selling out to any big corp stealing other peoples images and re packaging them in a very basic crass way and also has the right connections to enable photo opportunities. |

I still try to buy what I like could care less about value reason my flat file is full... ( wife sell something "you can't it's just paper lol) she is right, she collects Louis Vuitton you know what she sells everytime for a profit ... lol...
Any way I just have fun.....honestly could sell but lazy to list... after a few drinks fun looking at the paper
