Should David Cameron Resign?, by Schrödinger's Chat on Apr 8, 2016 11:06:47 GMT 1, I like many are disappointed to hear the latest revelations about David Cameron and it's really put his integrity into question for me.
Here was someone that I would have trusted with my life, and now it turns out he's not entirely honest - shocked and disappointed.
The question is, is it enough to make the annoying pain in the ring piece resign? I doubt it.
Discuss...
(Note: I am genuinely interested in the feelings in the UK, since I am out of the Country at the moment, so am not exposed to public opinion).

Should David Cameron Resign?, by Dellboyy on Apr 8, 2016 11:29:59 GMT 1, I found the pig thing amusing but didn't really give a s**t (the fact he's in these rich elitist groups is far more worrying then the pig incident itself). The fact immoral rich people have off shore accounts isn't anything shocking or new, but at least he can say he did 'apparently' get rid of whatever links he had to them right? So as of now, he's not currently doing anything wrong or immoral in relation to this scandal. You can argue about past crimes, but skip that for now.
What offends me and f**ks me off about him, and why i think he should resign, is pretty much every decision him and his party have made since they took power. The NHS, the doctors, the disabled, the cuts for the poor, the s**te 'deals' with the businesses avoiding tax, the school academy thing to his rich buddies etc etc. I could go on
What i always think in situations like this and the pig thing, which while amusing and media friendly, won't directly affect much, is what little things he's slipping through which will fuck us over while we're all in a media frenzy about this shit.

Should David Cameron Resign?, by Schrödinger's Chat on Apr 8, 2016 11:37:57 GMT 1, Dellboyy, I think you are absolutely right.
I suppose it's not so much about this incident, as the fact that this incident creates an opportunity to raise genuine concerns about the integrity and honesty of the PM.
I wonder if people within the Tories who are interested in challenging leadership see this as a gift horse not to be looked in the mouth?

Should David Cameron Resign?, by mojo on Apr 8, 2016 11:41:02 GMT 1, He has lied to us all, if he wasn't doing anything 'illegal' why the hell didn't he just say so in the first place? This type of global corruption is rife and needs to be shut down immediately. To say he hadn't benefited from his fathers corrupt tax arrangements is complete nonsense, of course he did, he went to Eton. These complex/dodgy tax arrangements breed inequality, a mega rich person can commit crime and pay others to cover it up where as the rest of us are denied legal aid representation should we ever need it. It's disgraceful, hypocritical and unethical for him to continue as PM.
link to Demo this Saturday 9th April noon at 10 Downing Street Panama Hats, Sunglasses, Club Tropicana Style ......dress to impress all those flashy tax dodgers
Cause there's enough for EVERYONE ......apparently.

Should David Cameron Resign?, by Deleted on Apr 8, 2016 12:08:47 GMT 1, Most politicians are liars and career politicians looking for the next rung on the ladder and lining their pockets with taxpayers money. From mega bankers and vultures like Soros, to foreign aid and the EU. They have one rule for them and another rule for us.
The Panama papers show that in reality they have been taking the piss for years and don't care how they fuck up the world in order to siphon off billions into offshore banks. Some have gotten rich from creating conflicts and wars and others gotten rich afterwards from the rebuilding and other contracts. South African politicians went from nothing to having millions in their bank accounts after Mandela was president.
Cameron is as much a puppet of certain interests as the people around him.
It's not only money these type of people hide in tax havens.
Politicians should be routinely drug tested as no one wants the countries budget or othe policies made by a coke head.
Plus Freemasons in politics should declare themselves or should be registered in political mebers interests.
Teflon Tony Blair and his vampiric looking wife have made millions and been behind many cover ups.
The BBC hierarchy too.
People are waking up to the fact that politics and political power is a global gang working together against us for their own benefit.
The Panama paers have not been made public in total and are they holding back info on American and other countries tax dodgers and filtering what they release.
Bernie Sanders has got Hilary sussed and the mainstream media like CNN etc is so blatantly biased that they do not seem to want honest people in power.
If Cameron used tax loopholes to avoid tax, then it's not hard to close the loopholes that exist for the rich and Google and Starbucks corps etc etc to avoid paying tax.
Or to prevent foreign billionaires from laundering their, some would say stolen money in London properties and companies etc.
Tax havens have always existed and it wasn't long ago when Terry Wogan and others were avoiding tax in Scottish forests and similar stuff.
Never trust a politician and never believe what comes out of their mouth.

Should David Cameron Resign?, by Poster Bob on Apr 8, 2016 12:25:48 GMT 1, Ploppi, most Americans can easily hide their money elsewhere. I believe that's why you haven't seen many of them exposed in the news as of yet.
I think that Cameron should resign but as liberal as I am I'll still vote Conservative because of how delusional Labour is.

Should David Cameron Resign?, by loother on Apr 8, 2016 12:32:12 GMT 1, Cameron was the Eton-educated offspring of two generations of city traders and a culture of presumed omnipotence and at-all-costs self-protection when he was elected, and I've never seen anything from him - least of all in the last week - that has surprised me. If he decided to renationalise the energy companies, say, or to adequately fund the health service, or to avoid routinely demeaning the disabled, he should of course resign immediately. For now, he's doing exactly what he was mystifyingly elected to do, what he was born to do, and should carry on for another (sobs) four years at least.

We will see exactly which media outlets report on and press issues on the Panama Papers the most ...

Should David Cameron Resign?, by Deleted on May 25, 2016 2:25:54 GMT 1, Cameron is not the worst PM. That was Blair and Thatcher. Major was sleeze and Cameron and the Tory party is a crony party the same way the Labour party is and was.
Britain has no special relationship with the US because the US is pandering to Merkel as their poodle in Europe.
The euro wll crash as it's a fraudulent economy propped up by the Germans. The deutschemark is a good investment and the EU hates the fact that it only takes one country to dump the euro and the whole Euro scam ponzi will go down the pan.
Two things I realised.
The politicians don't run the country. The administration does. If all the MP's and PM vanished overnight. The country will still run the same way and taxes collected and all the other stuff people have to put up with. Same in all the EU countries.
Most politicians just pander to votes and lie and twist round facts and the truth and hide the truth in order to get votes. Politicians are bought and paid for.
All parties are working together in as much as they cover each others backs to hide certain goings on and misconduct.
The other thing I realised was while watching a demo in town by some left wing goup protesting against a right wing mayor and his local politics.
The police were based on the outer perimeter at four points, sitting in their police cars observing the demo which was just some glorified speach and handing out leaflets by the left.
If the left wing protestors had got rowdy or said the wrong things in public the police who are paid would have got out of their cars or called in reinforcements and made arrests.
If the local mayor and politics was far left, and a right wing protest was organised.
It would have been the same police sitting in cars watching the right wing protestors protesting against a left wing mayor and the same police would have arrested right wing protestors if things got rowdy.
What I learned is that these police work for any government thats in power no matter how extreme left or right the government in power could become. Paid enforcers in fact with no conscience.
