Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by Deleted on Feb 22, 2012 11:44:25 GMT 1, which version do you have - as there were several - one from when the show opened, another half way through, and then the final version towards the end. The price list was amended as more and more works were added later - partly due to works being caught up at customs in Israel and also works were created on the spot at the ghetto

I see your point mate, but it's not the same situation there.. or even similar when you think of it... plus, as maadbeats said, those places are pretty much no access zones @ the moment...
sadly, there are other places in the world worth organizing similar events at (refugee camps, slums, working camps, landfills, amazon rain forest, etc)..

Just because Britain and the U.S. along with there colonial stooges support the occupation doesn't make it right.
It think it is fair to say that the Israeli government have inflicted far more terror on to it's neighbours than they have on to 'her' as you put it.
Here's an example en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabra_and_Shatila_massacre
I guess the continued airstrikes and murdering by Israel is of course okay as long as they are 'democratic' in terms of election (thats debatable by the way).

Would have a case if zones were never illegally occupied. Unfortunately the terror inflicted on to the Palestinian people by both the Israeli's and lack of support from their Arab counterparts had to result in violent action as there is no other alternative.
The highlighting of the plight in Palestine by Banksy et al, from what I can see was to not expose this crap of two sides to every story but was to accentuate the plight of the Palestinian people.

Indeed. And what an eye opener it was, the hospitality shown by Palestinians was immeasurably more impressive than the teenagers armed with an attitude and semi automatic assault rifles just a "stones throw" away.
Here's a little montage of the trip

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by lover on Feb 24, 2012 11:31:02 GMT 1, I sometimes wonder why most people in the UK blame Israel. Did they not give back Gaza a few years back? And did this not just give Hamas a greater area to fire rockets at Israel?
It is possible to make peace with a terrorist organisation thats manifesto says they will not stop the attack until Israel no longer exists?
Many questions- very difficult answers

Or perhaps it is important to highlight the hundreds of thousands that have been victim to the occupation.

Depends what you define as a terror organisation.
Like I said before, I'm sure Banksy et al didn't go there to highlight the supposed suffering of the Israeli people. They went to Palestine, to protest against the illegal wall put their by the Israelis and the constant harassment and murder by the Israelis of the Palestinian people.
It is extremely odd, for a person to collect urban art which is generally anti-establishment and then vow their support for murderous political machines. I don't see any art by street artists supporting Israel, Britain, the U.S.
At the end of the day, if occupations were happening around the world then these organisations which you proclaim to be 'terrorists' wouldn't exist and if they did you might actually have some ground with your argument.
This argument about their neighbours supporting them is absolute bollocks. Egypt traded with Israel and closed the border, all of the neighbouring Arab countries while they may not like Israel, certainly don't help their Palestinian brothers as much as the could.

If you want to examine facts...
Israel supplied arms to support apartheid. The also sold weapons to Loyalist death squads.
Also interesting that you got your facts from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Syria has murdered Palestinian refugees.
Quite frankly I think it is a case of what 'King' Fahd, propped up by the British said:
"Next To Jews, We Hate Palestinians The Most"
