Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by njr911 on Dec 3, 2007 17:25:22 GMT 1, It's Bethlehem, not a sprawling metropolis... It's a little town if I remember rightly...
glol !
Oh little town of bethlehem, how still we see thee lie Above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent stars go by Yet in they dark streets shineth, the everlasting light The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.
For christ is born of mary, and gathered all above While mortals sleep the angels keep their watch of wondering love Oh morning stars together, proclaim the holy birth. And praises sing to God the king, and peace to men on earth.
How silently, how silently, the wondrous gift is given So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of his heaven No ear may hear his coming, but in this world of sin Where meek souls will receive him still, the dear christ enters in.
Oh holy child of bethlehem, descend to us we pray Cast out our sin and enter in, be born in us today We hear the christmas angels, the great glad tidings tell O come to us, abide with us, our lord emanuel.

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by rolyateel on Dec 3, 2007 17:26:18 GMT 1, whilst evryone is getting their knickers in a twist / pulling their hair out / switching their brains off before posting...maybe they'd like to read this...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Mandate_of_Palestine
...and see why, if you're british, you should be very interested in the situation over their and trying to get it changed...seeing as it was our fault for being sneaky underhand imperialist idiots in the first place
maybe think about this before worrying about what / where / when / how / how much

Who says that there will be an online print? The website simply states the artists that are 'incoming' this month. This could be online, or instore only...
I would expect a queue of people on 'Tuesday'. The edition of 28 will probably get you £7,500 on ebay, and the Flags will probably fetch £5,000+. Most people in art queues nowadays are there to make a quick buck, and the potential profits will have people flocking to Bethlehem..

on the shop screen of the ghetto page it says that they will be selling prints in their usual way, online...and below that is a list of "incoming" artists for the month, with Banksy's name named...so I believe there will be a print or two of his online

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by Deleted on Dec 3, 2007 17:33:52 GMT 1, I for one think that making the prints available in store is a great move on POW's part. Whoever goes there will be putting in quite an effort and should be rewarded. Worse case scenario, flippers will have to get a hotel room, taxi and pay for some food so hey, they're supporting the local economy. We should all be thankful that this is going to be online so that we'll have a shot at some of the prints rather than waiting overnight in the cold London weather. Best of luck to all who are going.

This could be online, or instore only... on the shop screen of the ghetto page it says that they will be selling prints their usual on line way, and it lists below the incoming artists of the month, and I believe Banksy's name is there....so I think there will definitely be a Banksy online print I would expect a queue of people on 'Tuesday'. The edition of 28 will probably get you £7,500 on ebay, and the Flags will probably fetch £5,000+. I'm sure that there will be, but there are 2 paragraphs on that page, and given the propensity for confusion re: SG, it may not be so simple... One explains the retail - the other lists the artists on sale. It doesn't necessarily follow that all will be online (although you would hope so)
