It is an edition of 450 but does anyone have any idea how many APs there were? Fairey does not release a certain number of AP's on his additions. Upon initial print release he always has extra screens pulled for damaged or lost product during delivery. He makes these his AP's also for gifts and thank you gestures. If you visit his studio you can always snag a few old AP's. People do not value them higher now, but one day they will be worth double. There is just too much inventory available now to justify the mark up.
Personally I would take an AP over a "limited edition #" any day of the week. Don't let anyone convince you that it is worth less than the going rate for said piece. Just my 2 cents
