given that --
(1) a nice Rennes UV recently sold for $10,750;
(2) the original Rennes print is arguably as good as the UVs (and better than many of the UVs (where the color washes out the red heart and kills the print));
(3) but UV still is arguably superior as "unique" work with resulting premium;
(4) Rennes is clearly one of Blu's best collectible works (related to iconic mural, filled with interesting details & politically engaged humor); &
(5) Blu hasn't released prints (or other collectible work) for years (and it looks like he never will again (the shop page on his website is now blank & the artsh.it website he set up years back is now down))
-- $3000 for Rennes sounds reasonable to me (framed or unframed). i expect it will look like the bargain it is a few years from now (as right now it looks like Blu's secondary market, aside from prints recently dumped by POW, has significant demand without sufficient supply)
full disclosure: i have a Rennes original print and also a (nicer variety of the) Rennes UV print (& am also a true believer in Blu as a peer of Banksy, Os Gemeos, JR & Swoon - the allstars of post internet street art)

Most surprising result here is probably the signed Sketch Note-Book 2004-2007.
It almost sold for the same price as the Blu - Demos print that was sold on ebay in December 2017...

I believe the rennes is his best piece too, but I think that 3000 is reasonable only for the seller.

This is true.
Anyway sometimes I think we are the secondary market for Blu. I would not be surprised that someone from the forum bought the Il Nulla and the unsigned copy of the book.
For my part I bought the signed one. I hardly resist when I can put together artist I appreciate and rare books. I "might" have overspent a bit, still I am very happy with it. And well, I did not buy the Demos at the same price cause I was on fxxxing holydays

we can agree that your rock band cds are not worth $3000 (and who cares - no one is here asking for current prices of those or countless other limited edition items). no one suggested scarcity means "at any price" (or even approaching Banksy prices ffs).
i haven't seen any evidence that "most" of Blu's prints sell for under $1000 (although maybe those that have gone to ebay for a quick sale did). ebay does not set value of art (particularly for Blu, who is hard to search for an a niche market) . i have seen secondary market seeking $1k-$2k for most of the Blu prints i have seen available (aside from POW dump/flippers & Il Nulla), reports on this board of parallel results (look up CMYK), and auctions getting similar results (and premiums for works like Rennes UV & even a damaged Demos UV).

You would be overpaying for WWT @ $1K. CMYK (or the other 2) @ $1K would be a “deal” - maybe not Demos but definitely Rennes & CMYK. I’m no expert but have been watching closely for the past several months...

Rennes is on a whole other level (large print, iconic Blu print of iconic Blu mural, lots of interesting details (i love the dog on the bed), politically engaged humor). the Rennes UVs are not that different from the original print (and plenty of folks prefer the original print to the UV).
hellfo thinks it is appropriate to price Rennes based on Blu's worst selling prints. i think reference to the UV, with some discount for difference, is more appropriate ($3000 comes in at ~28% of the Rennes UV sales price).

If you don't want to look at ebay prices, okay. funeral and monkey are from the recent POW closing sale and are quick flips (both are nice works and will be good pick ups for folks who are late to Blu). there was inventory of those on the primary market two months ago (and for 5-10 years before that), and so it is not surprising that they are not selling out quickly at $1000. il nulla and wwt are reasonable in concept but terrible in execution and will always lag Blu's other sales. Another point - i think banksy is influenced by blu - on the not releasing print credo - prints selling, gambling and flipping and fakes, and risks and winfall and scams and heartaches, affecting lives of "poorer" folks who should be spending their money on education and food or even a holiday with a loved one...
does leave a bad taste in a karma sensitive artist's mouth.

The Italian One what size/kinds of works were you seeing for 15k to 20k? i know the larger detailed works were EU20k back in the day when artsh.it was selling works (the more common smaller OGs were around EU5k), so that could be a price bump or drop depending on the work? (or maybe it was works like these from earlier in this thread - whose subject matter is less compelling and size is unclear but were priced at EU12k and EU15k?)

saint posted one for sale on these boards back in 2013 (noting there were 30 made, finished with watercolours, each unique) and i have not otherwise heard of this special edition.
also, i know zooo.org had what i thought of as a promo print of Blu (with an image similar to etching#1 with zooo on the lock -- i cannot find it on the web but can look further).
does anyone know of any other Blu prints aside from those listed above?

They were available from POW, edition of 30 as I mentioned.
£375 each, and were all finished in watercolours. 2011 I think I bought mine....
I was lucky enough to choose between most of them at the time I purchased it, and the majority had a watercolour wash which ran through the body as well as the background. Mine was one of the few where the background wash stayed in the background which made it look more thought out IMO.
I’ve always regretted selling it tbh.
I’ve been lucky to own a few blu originals and still own a collab drawing bwteeen him and Erika which I bought from Laz way back in the day. He’s without doubt one of the best there is.

interesting. if anyone comes across images of the Blu Headquarters UV, please post an image or link (i cannot picture where the color variation would be).
a similar problem with the color wash happened with the Rennes UVs (where they substituted a watercolor wash for the shadow layer of the print). my memory is the wash killed the heart in some of them (muddying the red) and also washed out the monitor eyes in some of them (which read better as white). i found some examples here.
