He is copying motives and ideas shamelessly and openly admits that. While Warhol used factory-made art displaying simple things of daily life, and other popart artists showed famous characters, MBW takes this at a different level and makes these objects meaningless by combining everything in wild chaos. I think this nicely captures our current society. One doesnt have to like it, but people also hated Warhol, Rothko, Pollock etc. And while I like urban art a lot, I would never hang a Stik on my walls....
I have one MBW from 2008 in my collection. A huge one that he still made himself, paper collage, spraypaint, screen print. Screen print layers dont match on purpose, pure chaos. Sometimes I hate it, but its a part of popart/streetart history....

I'm not aware of any Brainwash screen print edition that is not signed. His lithos are unsigned. Those aren't numbered though and definitely not hand finished either.
