State of Play, by Octopus UK on May 19, 2007 18:59:19 GMT 1, In the Invader thread there is a discussion about a new magazine Stateofplay who are selling some prints by known and (relatively) unknown (to me) artists.
www.stateofplayzine.com/stateofplay/printthumbs.html
I'd thought I'd try and make a separate thread. If stateofplay see's this could they tell me a bit more about Christian Brett's piece, "Opportunity of Ages". This appears to be two (twin?) towers of text. What is the subject matter of the text?

State of Play, by State of Play on May 19, 2007 19:27:13 GMT 1, hello there. yes. christian bretts work is very good. very political. opportunity of ages is a purely typographic piece that is the twin towers... and the twin towers have been created by using all the corporations names who financed some how from the bombing on sept 11th... very good if you ask me and quite an iconic piece. and his other piece oil is very clever too...
and james taylors 'we are youre friends' piece who you are comparing to Eduardo Paolozzi is definitely available to buy...
all the artwork is especially commissioned for the theme of the magazine or a specific article about something within the mag.
let us know if you think of any artists that you'd like to see or think would be interested in doing something for state of play...
