Ive also had a very bad experience with a framer and unfortunately ended up with minor damage on two banksys, and im sure there are many many more out there. one thing is for certain...never use any solid colour mounts against any prints, eventually regardless of what grade it is...it will transfer the colour to the paper. Isn't this more likely to be sun bleaching from where the mount covered the print, rather than colour bleeding out of the mount?
nope afraid not - I have been told by a very high end art restorer regardless of grade of mount, eventually it will pass off the colour on to the paper, even if its a light shadow.

The back wouldn't be faded so if the paper matches the color of the border the print is faded. If it matches the main part of the print it's from the previous matting. Obviously we want to see it done with linen gloves
