Teams of old used to attack in wave after wave and you always knew a late goal was coming in Fergie time....was enjoyable to watch. Will be interested to see how long Mourinho lasts before he upsets someone or the players!!

But these last years have been (sorry all you Utd fans) straight out boring, boring Man Utd. When you have a manager who put Phil Jones to take corners, that pretty much sums it up imo

The other choice was to do what City did, announce he's out months before the end of the season, which i never agree with. It ruined our season years ago when Fergie announced he was going to retire, then changed his mind.
The reality is that, as well liked as Van Gaal was amongst most united fans i know, his tactics and gameplan just wasn't working. We were just not good enough after two seasons of his philosophy, so a change was needed.
Given that, the change needed to be made as soon as possible for me to get the new manager in place for a full summers preparation, so i'm totally ok with what happened.
Also, any speculation around who actually leaked info is irrelevant, this stuff gets out for every club, manager or player, and if it doesn't get out the tabloids make it up anyway!
