Agreed - Tacky idea build around a quality print. Pending on cost it may be worth dismantling and removing the image to reframe. That said I don't imagine this will be cheap.

All artists have a brand, so to speak. I wouldn't get so hung up on the word, but I wouldn't expect any less from the UAA curmudgeon. I still like her art and I own an early HF print I love. I think her new stuff looks great and is a nice nod to Lichtenstein. But that above? is gross.
