The 3 posts above me were not about the light box. It was a follow through question about the originals. And I would be surprised if a gallery started pedaling light boxes in a contemporary art fair in NYC.

It does seems like there have been a few out of the box "mixed media" pieces as of late. I would defiantly prefer a light box to a lenticular, and I think Eine had the best idea with those neon signs but he didn't get much fanfare for those pieces.
No disrespect to Sandra, but all the comments about Ikea are spot on. Her artwork is beautiful and easily digestible, and I could see her being extremely successful if she went the commercial route and licensed the hell out of her images. Personally, I don't think theres any shame in that. Sure, she'd be a "sell out," but she'd be a millionaire sell out with a much larger audience enjoying her work.
