Correct. They were screened by my mate Gary of Private Press. I did think that about 'hand finished'...maybe he did embellish (I wasn't there!)

It looked to me as though all on the day were screen-printed live and then hand-finished with spray paint & stencil by Eelus.

At the Art Yard Sale you had to pay in Art Republic funnymoney. So they got their commission there. Hence price is the same on their site - they get their 50% cut either way.

Quickly becoming an integral part of the Brighton Fringe Festival programme, artrepublic’s annual Art Yard Sale is back for the third year running.

Twenty exciting contemporary and urban artists will take part, hosting workshops and interactive live commissions and selling their creations direct to the public.

With Jubilee Square transformed into a village of market stalls, visitors will meet the artists and experience a showcase of incredible artistic skill and talent. The event also presents a unique opportunity to pick up covetable original artworks at bargain prices.

Confirmed artists include Ben Eine, Eelus, Roy’s People, Donk, Pure Evil, Carrie Reichardt, Dan Hillier, Magnus Gjoen, Maria Rivans, Bonnie & Clyde, Copyright, Gemma Compton, Graham Carter, Sara Pope, Joe Webb, Carne Griffiths, Ryan Callanan, Richard Berner, Shuby, Louise McNaught, Martin Vareness-Cooke, Shuby, Eddy Bennett, Joseph Vass, Req, Mark Hooley and Dave White.

Each artist taking part will create unique, one-off pieces and commissions from their stand.

The Art Yard Sale will take place from 11am-5pm on Sunday 14 May at Jubilee Square, Jubilee Street, Brighton, BN1 1GE.

Ah I can't make it this year it was a great event last year. The sun was out in full force.

Always a great event and always some good bargains. Hopefully the weather is kind.

It's a great event. And a great chance to chat to the artists and get some cool little pieces.

It was like a rugby scrum last year tho. People wanting to get 10+ prints when it clearly states only 1/2 per person

It's good to hang around a bit, and go back a few hours after it opens to take it all in and chat to people

Prices have dipped on Eelus after the AR lenticulars

So Artrepublic is the accidental hero then? The one which killed the villainous flipper market for any artist!
