Baby got framed?, by pcant on Jun 2, 2016 7:37:37 GMT 1, I don't mean to be snarky, thought I'd start a thread instead of posting on one of the numerous for sale threads.
Did anyone who bought Baby Shot Me Down actually frame it? I really wanted one, tried on launch and failed, and now I see many of them for sale on here and the bay. Fast fingers followed by failed flips? Did people grab it because it's the newest and latest and then just not like it when they saw it in person? I am reluctant to make an offer on one without knowing why so many are for sale. Usually his prints are good quality, I have a number of them and did want to add one to my collection, but the sales cavalcade gives me pause. Is this one poor? I thought it might look nice next to my After The Rain. I'll probably never be able to afford a NEISBW, but BSMD is quite nice.
Anyone care to share? Again, not trying to shame anyone, just truly curious. Usually I see at least a couple of whatever I couldn't get my hands on in the recently framed section. For this one, I see nothing. Could have missed one, apologies if I did, but what gives?

Looking at the way you cramped it in that corner, it's very obvious you are short of wall space! Lol

I consider the printing of BSMD is on par with the others like ATR. I guess the insane number of sales is just down to buyers thinking this would appreciate to the levels seen in his more successful ones, but it's just not the case here. But an experienced flipper should know well that Eelus's works don't generally 'flip well' with some minor exceptions. So imo there is nothing to do with the quality. Just get one at cost (or below) if you like it.

awesome framing on this!
alot of people bought for investment - which sometimes can be the problem. I think in the long run it will pick up because its a good print imo.
The quality on this series have all been great (havnt seen this one though)
