Pejac show London "Law of the Weakest" 22-31 July, by nighthawk on Jul 23, 2016 18:34:19 GMT 1, Easily show of the year IMO. Pejac is presently one of the most talented artists on the scene. Also love the new print, and happy to add it to my collection.

Pejac show London "Law of the Weakest" 22-31 July, by savannahsam on Jul 23, 2016 19:03:35 GMT 1, Anyone know the meaning behind the print? Deforestation and the destruction of our landscapes especially here in the States! A fucking dollar general just went up down the street from where we live. My daughter and I use to love going for morning walks and now all of the beautiful Spanish Moss trees are gone for good. They were whimsical walks as the moss would drape down upon the tree's allowing just the right amount of sunlight to peek through! Total shame that all those wonderful trees are gone and people are flipping these on eBay as well! Oh well can't win them all!

I'm not sure i would say that i "know" the meaning but my vision of it is about our way of life. It raise our attention on our consomation, telling us 'be careful on what you buy because the lung of our earth begin to have a short breath" Lenticular effect add a notion of time, reminding us that the clock is ticking and it get worse every step we do if we are not paying attention to it.

That the effect a single family of beavers can have on a woodland is truly destructive and we should consider very carefully the idea of reintroducing them into the wild.

Pejac show London "Law of the Weakest" 22-31 July, by Wearology on Jul 23, 2016 22:24:18 GMT 1, One of the hottest trends in art right now are sculptures. A lot of high end artists and art collectors are becoming known for their sculptures like Arsham & Kaws. There are many artists whose sculptures do not get enough credit like STIK, FAILE & Banksy. We have 2 amazing forum artists whose sculptures are very underrated IMO like Born to Kiln & Kobron.

Pejac show London "Law of the Weakest" 22-31 July, by met on Jul 24, 2016 13:56:37 GMT 1, Here's a few more photos for anyone who can't make it to the show. I thought it was a really strong show; he's obviously an artist who doesn't just have the ideas but also the technical skills and versatility to execute those ideas. The gold panning piece was quite understated but I thought it summed up the main concepts of the show really well; that what's valuable is all around us but that we're missing it. Great to see so many lovely people there too. [...] [...]
Many thanks for posting all the photos.
I really like the gold panning piece as well, and agree with your thoughts about it summing up a primary encompassing theme for the show.
My only very minor quibble relates to the work's title, Nature is the Treasure — which is unnecessarily prescriptive and too literal for me.

Maybe adding Buffalo Bill would make it more attractive for some buyers.
Or Jay and Silent Bob.

Pejac show London "Law of the Weakest" 22-31 July, by The Jokers Puppet on Jul 24, 2016 16:22:38 GMT 1, What a superb show. Some of the photos shown on here are excellent and convey some of the beauty of the pieces. Its a shame that there has been no really good informative reviews of the show by any of the art publications. Hopefully some to come. I read the link kindly provided above directing to the Arrested motion review. How does something like that go out? One of the best pieces in the show, Tryptich, depicts a take on one of arts maserpieces, Eugene Delacroix's 'Liberty leading the people', a piece that celebrated the Paris uprising of July 1830. An incredibly appropriate and clever piece for today and simply described by the review as 'something painted on riot shields'. Brilliant.

Pejac show London "Law of the Weakest" 22-31 July, by case on Jul 24, 2016 16:47:41 GMT 1, Great show, fantastic works. No surprise I loved Meadow, was great to see the original. Congratulation to the owner, I could spend hours watching it! Same refers to the outstanding book dumping piece - and to many more to be honest. Could share some pics on Sunday but I fear that would be very repetitive as lots of great pics had been posted already. Was it worth the trip? No doubt! I think i'll attend the show today again after doing some sightseeing. I will search his shoe installations tomorrow morning. Are there any nice street art pieces around these places? Would love to see some Stik works on walls. Any help via pm appreciated! There is a massive stik on hackney road which is less than 10 min walk away from redchurch street - it's on a building they are in process of demolishing. Look for Hackney road just before it turns off onto cremer street. Nearest station is Hoxton (overground). Enjoy! Thanks, found it but wish I wouldn`t have gone there. 10 metres later two f***s on a motorscooter stole my smartphone while driving by when i was writing a message to my girl. I had a filles wallet with me and a DSLR and these idiots took my smartphone which should be worth around 20 Bucks used. Gratz!
Just arrived home and will sort out my pictures now. I`ll try not to be too repetitive, sorry in advance. Was great to be at the show on Saturday again - plenty of space and time to look at great art!
