Euro 2016, by Lroy on Jun 10, 2016 22:44:58 GMT 1, Congratulations to all the French fans on here. The reports I'm hearing are that some of the English fans are not behaving well. If so, poor show by them. I think British police should be there with a fleet on vans and just chuck any trouble makers in the back and have them back in England within a few hours. it has already be done by French police in some competition: kops had been already in the buses for UK without seeing any match lol !

I think West Ham are in a great position to 1. Match his wage demands and 2. Dictate his value if they feel him staying will be detrimental to the team They've got a stadium pretty much for free, they've sold out most of the 50000 season tickets.
I can see them seling up to a foreign investor and making a huge profit

Euro 2016, by iamzero on Jun 11, 2016 10:27:58 GMT 1, I hope not dude because that would show them up to being purely about the business side of things. Although moving to that stadium has already shown that. I personally don't think that stadium has Weat Ham at heart. I really hope its not going to be the soulless place I think it might be.

It looks like the England fans who can be rowdy and boisterous were attacked by a bunch of locals. Who if the England boys were not in town would have done their usual of smashing and setting cars on fire, which happens in a few towns in the south of France at this holiday time of year.

Conan is ok too, I like it, Pogba should be better. Maybe Griezman begins to have the big head, anyway me and my kid hate ( lol, all is relative ) this long aspergus of Giroud. Germany as always will be the greatest, they don't ask themselves any psy questions and just plays and scores ( as Romania yesterday a good time ) . I believe in Engjand too. Don't want to see any matches of Ronaldo. Fed up of him and he was so wrong and lazy with the last Real ...

I like English fans really , they sing and love really football, but too much beers (?as for a lot of people ) could make aggressive. Anyway Marseille supporters are not innocents too ( as PSG - a lot of wankers )

Euro 2016, by iamzero on Jun 11, 2016 14:00:59 GMT 1, There's no excuse for the troubles they bring to football. I will admit to having friends that are part of fighting in football but they are mostly organised and away from the grounds and don't involve innocent people and families. I have heard reports of English fans being attacked by others but that probably won't make the papers or the fact that violence by supporters in Europe is far more commonplace than it is in the UK. Still no need for it all.

Euro 2016, by Deleted on Jun 11, 2016 15:07:58 GMT 1, While I don't condone the fighting, every time I've been away with England the minority of locals always seem to find and try and get a reaction from the England fans. Unfortunately a minority of the England fans will fight back and it ends up in the papers that we're all running wild causing the fighting. It's much the same as teams kicking Rooney constantly waiting for him to snap. This time I can see Ali being given a few digs to set him off

Euro 2016, by Nick on Jun 11, 2016 15:42:23 GMT 1, The organisers are as much to blame as anyone, as they clearly thought that England v Russia should be played in Marseilles of all places. I've heard a few reports of Englosh fans just fighting back, don't know if true though: It was literally just luck of the draw. Match 2 of group B would be played in Marseille, chance had it that England and Russia were drawn into those slots. No organisation goes into match placement apart from placing the host nation in A1 slot. Shame no organisation occurs as the most in demand game of the group stages, Eng v.s Wales, wouldn't have been in the smallest stadium!

True but I'm sure Platini and friends could have fiddled things a bit. It wouldn't have been the first time (allegedly).

Euro 2016, by Deleted on Jun 11, 2016 22:13:16 GMT 1, Undeserved. Thought England were very very good today
That's what the commenters said but I reckon it was deserved. If you don't take chances and we had plenty, you're liable to get caught. England were decent and looked promising going forward but couldn't score when it mattered. Roy should brought on Vardy rather than Milner as that might have freshened the fading attack rather than invite pressure. One question from the game is what is the point of Sterling? He's quick but utterly useless, as he can't pass, cross or shoot. He doesn't offer much protection for the full backs either.

Yes, was a bit sad for England .., the shoot was so great ! I am agree with you Letiss, Sterling is a great player, I like his quick game, but sometimes he plays too personal, and/or for himself.. It s a bit a shame. Ali was good too. Just, the two scorers Lannana and .. were not so good too, Rooney was ok too. Yes, missed Vardi but this team is good anyway. Russian was good too as Romania yesterday ( with lucky French ) , always East have dangerous teams, and Russian has always had the best goalkeeper of the world. But England was the best and they will be here in the second part.
