I do mention my location, it's listed at the top of the sale...but if you can't see it I am based in Los Angeles.

Yes I am definitely hesitant to sell, I am attached to this piece, it's quite lovely...I do recall asking for more information when I bought it, over on the now defunct Stik forum, and one time asking it's worth...I think your being a little over reactive when it comes to me asking it's value. But thanks for the opinion, everyone has got one.

Getting back to the thread, Looking of an indication of value I trawled jcookgurl's activity but failed to find the price discussions referred to. How are the giclees valued vs the screen prints?
Based in London but could probably pick up from San Fran in not LA

Is this the same framed print that you picked up in April 2016 ?

I had just gotten it back from the framer then. I purchased it in January. And yes, before you go and bash me about the timing, I mentioned I am looking to fund something personal, and I feel like given the current Stik craze I would be able to move this rather quickly if I chose to, which last I checked was still my perogative.

Not so sure about that. Most of the stiks I've sold have gone to US buyers

Yup, this is not visible for users using their smartphones, so best to put location into main body of sales ad. Nice framing job, good luck.

Was it you who said that Stik and his printer told Bonhams not to take Stik prints from other people apart from themselves? I doubt an auction house would play that game but knowing people on the inside of certain auction houses I do know that it's possible for certain staff to do handshake deals regarding pieces entered or refused by them if they can make a bit on the side.
I think Stik auction results have been artificially bid up by Stiks management which he does have.
I think Stik uses his I used to be a drug addict and homeless back story as marketing as was the Big Issue giveaway marketing too. I also think Stik has had plent of money from public funding and if he can make a lot of money from his art. Good luck to him and he should be able to afford to rent or buy private and not take advantage of cheap social housing in London.
and yes I think some on here are hyping the prices and steering people towards their sales on here.
Stick figures are great as simple art and comics like "Exploding Dog" etc and also as minimalist art.

From the interactions I've had with him and from all of his charity work, I think he genuinely wants to do good. He's open and honest about his experiences but I don't ever get the impression that it or his charity work is purely for self-gain.

1 is costa, 1 is starbucks.
the coffee at both is the same but i choose to go to starbucks as there is less of a queue, they have air con, the coffee is sligtly more expensive but i prefer it and they have free wifi.
why do rich arabs buy things from harrods when the same product is up the road in tesco for a quarter of the price. You go where you can afford and you feel gives you a known good service.
thats life.

On my road there are 2 coffee shops. You go where you can afford and you feel gives you a known good service. thats life. wow 2 coffee shops !! On my road there is angies cafe and Fred's cafe !! Both probably sell coffee ! Probably instant but after a few estrella's the night before I'll usually just grab a tea with 2 sugars ! Nowt to do with the price ! But to be honest I wouldn't pay £6 for a cup if Fred sells one for a quid !?!? ... The last time I went in harrods I saw Alf off neighbours !!! He wasn't buying owt to expensive just a couple of pairs of nice socks I think !!
