The Art of Banksy, Amsterdam - pics from opening day, by goingdownthedran on Jun 18, 2016 22:27:29 GMT 1, I went to the opening day of this exhibition at Beurs van Berlage today. Basically it's a collection of 100 works from Steve Lazaride's collection, so only covers the period 2000 - 2006 when he was working with Banksy I guess.
Half the exhibition is a selection of all the commerciallly available prints that you've all seen a million times - often rather badly framed. But the other half featured rare and in my case frequently unseen editions that I didn't know existed. Canvases, APs and other odd print runs that I guess never saw the light of day. Plus a few sculptures and some memorabilia from previous events.
I enjoyed it, even if it was overpriced (โฌ18 for an exhibition that took max one hour to walk around and cover in detail). The gift shop was utterly s**t though.
Here's a photo collection of some of the rarer pieces, as far as I'm aware at least.

They had a small (20-30?) collection of Banksy work that we enjoyed seeing.

The Art of Banksy, Amsterdam - pics from opening day, by Flashback on Dec 1, 2016 0:03:32 GMT 1, Not the right place for this thread but can't see an actual city section. Mod's please move if need be.
Thinking of going to this Filling Pieces sale in Amsterdam on Friday and spending a few days there.
Does anyone have any info on what's worth seeing there at the moment?
Thanks
