Who will be the next UK Prime Minister?, by Hubble Bubble on Jun 23, 2016 14:10:20 GMT 1, My theory - Remain will win the referendum, Cameron stays on. Natural shift of power to Osborne within Conservatives. Could be undone by a move by May and her supporters. Boris sunk as he's a turncoat and obviously put his own ambition before what he believes to be right for his country. Corbyn unelectable. Like I say... just the musings of a madman.

Could we see both Labour and Conservative have new leaders in the next few weeks?
Labour seem to realise they don't have a hope at the next election under Corbyn, so now might be a good time to make a change.
Conservatives have a problem now that Cameron is probably more popular with Labour voters that conservative votes

Conservatives have a problem now that Cameron is probably more popular with Labour voters that conservative votes I think Labour will change, and soon - but not necessarily within weeks. Tories will probably let Cameron ride out a bit longer if he wins as #Remain, trying to let the wounds heal. Of all the parties they have been the most riven by this referendum.

Who will be the next UK Prime Minister?, by mutatis on Jun 23, 2016 16:11:56 GMT 1, I see Leave are conceding before the votes have been counted! Anyway, Cameron to stay regardless of the result - Osborne has lost too much goodwill within the party. My money would be on Theresa May. She's played the whole referendum issue cannily in a very low key way and internally rates lower than Gideon on the toxicometer.

I believe the smiley winking face was to be interpreted as sarcastic as the EU referendum pole on here was strongly in favour of remain
