Getting prints of my work made - advice?, by Stoko on Jun 23, 2016 16:53:38 GMT 1, Afternoon all. I've been after getting some prints of my drawings done after getting some positive feedback and have been offered an exhibition so need to get my arse in gear. My drawings are fine liner and graphite, I've scanned them in, retouched them and tried having photographic prints done by Kodak. And they look crap. Whats the best way to get prints made? Am guessing giclee. I'm based in Preston, England and obviously local places would be good if I could nip in and speak to people. Any contacts or experiences? Here's one of my drawings to show the level of detail etc, i.e. they cant be screen printed.

Getting prints of my work made - advice?, by Daniel Silk on Jun 23, 2016 17:06:11 GMT 1, I would have thought a three level screen print, one black and two in shades of grey might work out ok. Otherwise just stick to doing originals maybe?
Nice work! Please post a few more examples please.

Screen printing wouldn't work, the drawings are A4 and so very fine lines

Getting prints of my work made - advice?, by Stoko on Jun 23, 2016 17:29:39 GMT 1, I've uploaded a couple more pics in the Amateur now rock thread on Street Art. And of course I'm still working on doing originals, just want to get my work out there and obviously prints are the best way of doing it. Going to try and turn these into paste ups when I can work out what to do with the images

Getting prints of my work made - advice?, by Coach on Jun 23, 2016 22:35:25 GMT 1, You are very talented Stoko. I still have my original on display. It's hanging in the downstairs WC. No disrespect. It seemed fitting to have the young chap staring at you, whilst at ones most vulnerable! Keep sharing the pictures mate.
