Posterbob, triple the price may already be the reality as many Banksy prints are already three times as expensive for the signed version, look at Girl With Balloon signed v unsigned, Laugh Now is also about three times the price for signed, a signed soup can sold today at £16k with unsigned at £5k.

I've got a few signed and unsigned prints, and I certainly would prefer to have the signed version of each one but given the lofty prices on the signed I think the unsigned will continue to rise as a cheaper alternative. At the end of the day you get the exact same print, a PC certificate, so the premium is really on the signature. I see quite a few Warhol prints for sale that weren't signed and no one seems to care. Just a thought anyway, we will have to see if the prices difference widens or narrows. Time will tell.
