Eelus NEISBAW 3D Framing , by snoozy on Jun 28, 2016 22:41:19 GMT 1, Hi all,
Have any of you good folks had the Eelus NEISBAW 3D lenticular framed? If so which way did you opt for, as I want mine on the wall, but think it wouldn't look right behind glass, or even need to be, but would love to see if anyone has done one.
Also going by the original print, have seen a few in white frames, but think black makes the colours 'pop' more....this is creating brain-ache...
Any help/advice appreciated.
Cheers

Eelus NEISBAW 3D Framing , by Inknart on Jun 28, 2016 22:48:07 GMT 1, I used glare free/uv museum. I don't think reflective glass would work with this print.
Then I opted for a dark Gray frame with black silk matte for a very deep black.
I can tell you from the time it opened it up and looked at it it gets lots of dust in the grooves and other debris which could hurt the print over time depending on how often you have to tough it/dust it off trying to get everything out from time to time. Def would recommend glass.

Eelus NEISBAW 3D Framing , by snoozy on Jun 28, 2016 22:59:40 GMT 1, Thanks inknart, think the colour you have chose looks great, and goes with my initial thought, and yes, can see the issue with the grooves. Cheers.

Eelus NEISBAW 3D Framing , by Deleted on Jun 29, 2016 14:43:48 GMT 1, I'd thought about leaving the glass too snoozy but my framer recommended non-reflective glass for the same reason mentioned by Inknart
I'll post a pic up for you later.
cheers S

Eelus NEISBAW 3D Framing , by snoozy on Jun 29, 2016 18:02:37 GMT 1, Defo Museum glass, spoken to Gary (MFM) and he said the same basically, so it's really down to the framing colours...nice to see some variations too, not keen on the white though, so I reckon black, spaced back, framed to the edge...If there are any more, even the original version, would be nice to see. Thanks all for the effort, appreciated as it does really help. Cheers
