Invader Print, Original, WANTED, by 11 on Mar 2, 2017 2:22:53 GMT 1, Invasion is the pinnacle of the invader embossed prints imho ... they are pretty nice, I think that series has the best of his embossed prints, but a couple of the invasions are meh in comparison to the best of the other series of embossed prints. For me it's: 1) Invasion - Black and Silver 2) Invasion - Blue and Red 3) Home - Mars 4) Aladdin Sane - Silver Disclaimer: I own none of the 4 mentioned above and apparently never will.
I think the black / silver invasion is my invader holy grail. Mars is possibly my #2 with invasion blue red 3rd. Although I think Earth and Neptune are almost as strong as Mars and the Lego's are much more striking in the flesh so I would struggle to choose anything beyond a top 3 (full disclosure : I have the home edition)
I love the complexity of the the Rubik Kubrick work and the prints are very nice, the embossing and print quality seems exceptional and they translate very well from the originals to print. I wish I had picked up Alex and Johnny but I think they will also be very sought after now.
I have a couple of Aladdin's so won't dwell but for me the gold is the strongest of the set and is such a shame was the edition of 30 against the silver ed of 25....I always wonder if it was purely because an image of the gold one was leaked out before the drop.

As much as I appreciate the nice size and bright colours of the Aladdin Sane prints, I've never been that keen on the image (and so sold mine recently!). It never made sense to me... pac-man ghost with bowie lightning... what!?? I much prefer the Invasion prints, and even the Low Res Mona Lisa, etc, which seem to make much more sense with his style. I just don't like how they cubed the upper right/left white portions of the Aladdin Sane prints; that's why I sold mine. Should've only cubed the invader and kept all the white space flat.
