I don't fully agree that the standard one looks better than the hand finished - I think that depends on which hand finished one you compare it to.
With reference to the stencil used..... I quite like it and its iconic to have the image of QE2 in that way.
My personal thought is that this is a good piece of work and topical for sure.... I like!

Personally my portfolio lost thousands in a day or two, which then bounced back after some realignment. However, I'm sure it's effects haven't even begun because the whole Brexit process hasn't really been ironed out. I think it has world wide significance and is a part of history relating to "The New Normal". I am a US buyer and think it has meaning globally. I do get your point as far as being more significant in Britain than anywhere else but my thought is that in this crazy world, everything matters. |

I am a uk citizen, currently living and working in Chicago under a green card.... I get paid in pounds and have lots of expenses in dollars so the Britexit affected me financially big time .... This art is global in its representation of what has happened so I agree with polymindset.
The debate about the edition vs the hand finished is a fair one..... I will always chose a hand finished one over the print provided it resonates with me.

Pretty soon I guess there will be as many HF QE2EU prints as the regular edition. I know it's his art and he has the right to do whatever he wants with it, but with most artist the HF work is usually a special thing and in this case the more that are released just makes them less special from the investment aspect. I suppose it will keep going until the supply out-weighs the demand. Oh well. I do have to say that they all do look great. Matter of fact they just keep getting better and better. |

Looks fantastic and in my opinion better that the regular print (I have both).... Well packaged and I am one very satisfied person.....
I do hope he stops after the last set released....
Will go really well next to my Bowie hand finished print!

Just got my HF today and it's absolutely super cool, much better than the original however, they will look great together. I know there are two left on his site. If anyone is on the fence I say pull the trigger, you'll be glad you did. |

Just got mine up. Any else get those hand-finished ones framed yet? This looks really great, I like the minimalist frame job. Just had a flood in my house so one of the construction guys wants to buy my Obey 'Firestorm' framed print and the money might go to framing. However, there is still painting and flooring upgrades, thank goodness for credit cards however much I hate them. This looks great tho. It really does stand on it's own very well. |
