Sayakumi is not totally right : we spoke about Paris attacks, Calais refugees, Euro 2016, Brexit, even le Tour de France lol ( posted by well known members ).
If people don't want to speak in this thread , they can go to other threads talking about Banksy, mr Brainwash and street-art tats :-) ( said kindly )!

Truck Attack, Nice France, by iamzero on Jul 15, 2016 12:36:59 GMT 1, I do think Ploppi has a point, if we're to blame for bombing the Middle East and this is retaliation then why aren't the Jewish blowing up Germany for the mass slaughter during the war? What makes the difference between the two cases? Where is the difference between the Jewish faith and the Daesh ideology?

Truck Attack, Nice France, by pingoo on Jul 15, 2016 12:46:11 GMT 1, Is it confirmed this is an actual terrorist attack, we had a insane guy drive into a crowd on a National holiday a few years ago, that had nothing to do with anything other than him being crazy. Of course, it doesn't take away anything from the fact that it is a horrible act. But I don't think we should credit this to these fanatics before they make the claim and even then it could be questionable.
Still a valid point : no confirmation yet.

Maybe because Judaism and Christianity are the same, there are only 16 million Jews in the world, 1.6 billion Muslims, odds of radicalising a few thousand after we flatten another one of their cities is much greater. Remember, they just see Christians dropping those bombs, driving those tanks, killing their kids.
Damnit, here we go again, ok , logging off for a couple of days.

Truck Attack, Nice France, by Deleted on Jul 15, 2016 14:08:50 GMT 1, It's a forum. People are entitled to their opinions. they are. But my guess is if you want to debate seriously about geopolitics and world affairs then you should look for a more adequate forum than a street art forum. This forum has clearly demonstrated in the past that these issues should be avoided at all cost... but that's just me. Do as you wish I have to agree with you. Discussing it here can lead to animosity but the posts are unbiased and some people have woken up and smelled the coffee.
There is a big problem it's true and the problem is not with the law abiding citizens;

The way its going and for some reason it looks like security can hope to keep a lid on it but refuse to eliminate it.

France could end up in a situation similar to Northern Ireland during The Troubles, with soldiers on the streets and paramilitary organisations (ISIS) launching constant attacks.

Truck Attack, Nice France, by davievegas on Jul 15, 2016 17:49:52 GMT 1, Again... Why isis even exist now, can the whole world really can't do nothing against this bunch of fuckers ? The world can do plenty. They choose not too because of politics. With everyones advanced technology they can find anyone. Especially working together. If each country lended 5k-10k troops, then they could go into all these countries and take out all the isis/al-queda/muslim extremists. Why dont they? Does it come down to politics? It should be a crime NOT to actively do this imo. I pray for everyone who are victims of these attacks and until the countries come together to fight this, it will keep happening. Europe seems to be a nest for most terrorist extremists. I do not understand why no one has come together and started hunting these guys. I truly feel the internet and social media is the problem here. We live in a day and age where EVERY move is documented and followed. People cant take a wizz without others knowing about it these days. Are the countries not doing anything because of fear of backlash by going after the muslim race? In situations like this, you DO NOT care about hurting peoples feelings. The social media world has given everyone a voice and most people complain about everything. Racism/sexism/being treated unfairly. Its ridiculous. Such a sad decade for humanity.

Sorry zero, but I don't agree with what you have said at all. I think Johnson is a laughing stock abroad because of some of the incredibly undiplomatic headline seeking comments he has made in the past, which have all been widely reported abroad since his appointment. They are also well aware of the lies he told as part of his brexit campaign, and are naturally concerned about the effect of brexit in their own country. I am not surprised that he was booed today, when he had the gall to refer to an "economic union" between the uk and France. I think it's presumptuous to second guess what those people think about the dreadful terrorist attack. I believe that the French are collectively mourning a dreadful event.

Truck Attack, Nice France, by iamzero on Jul 15, 2016 21:52:54 GMT 1, I watched the footage of a huge group of people which has to be said was very intimidating. Personally there's no excuse for it no matter if you like Boris or not. I've said before he was fine as mayor of Toytown but to give him that position is possibly a big mistake. Either way the way that crowd behaved is nothing but embarrassing and plain wrong and I'm sure if you or a member of your family had been subjected to that standard of abuse you'd be not too happy about it. Odd that you can now face a charge of a hate crime for wolf whistling someone but somehow this level of abuse aimed at a public figure gets defended. Come on dude you're more reasonable than that.

Not the same colour as it once was and have proudly never owned a pair bicycle clips. Its a shame the anger levelled at government ministers isn't aimed at people radicalising suicide bombers was more what I was getting at. Unfortunately I can see no end to attacks like these.

The feeling now ( I have the families of the wife of my brother inNice, but it's ok and that is not the matter ) for me, for most of French people ( I imagine ) , colleagues, neighbors and families, Is that now , we feel the danger, we feel dirty in these insane and violent situations, we have kids, and the future looks damaged , spoiled for them. Now, it will be all the time, when one angry , desperate or fool/idiot/bastard person will take one day, as this, a weapon to kill people in the streets, for Daesch or not ( anyway Daesch will put any signature in these kind of terrorist - it is - act. We are fucked in short, really. Very very sad we feel. Yes, now, we are in. How can we kill kids, babies, persons , in a place called " une promenade " ? Une promenade ( Des Anglais, here ) is a place to walk, to enjoy , safe along trees or seas, when there is no fear and where everybody feels safe and happy to enjoy ice-cream and laughs , and the blue of the sea and the sky ... Surely not a bloody dirty place with a pollute , killa and ugly truck !!! It was not his place ! It is as they attack a playground in a school. That's why it's shocking and very hard to live for me. It s not only a terrorist attack in a street. I hate this driver, as I hate killers of innocent victims, kids.

Yes new kind of war or fight : as a f**king skinhead , Batskin, told in an interview : you kick, hit, first, then , after, you begin to talk. Daesch told in its propaganda to all fanatics, " poor " guys or simple minds , to attack first , then they will take all in charge : the signature. Bloody perv' innit ?
