Only recently (mainly with street art prints) has there been this craziness over A/Ps & P/Ps - they use to be looked more as 'test' prints before the actual run was printed. Just because it is more exclusive/rarer doesn't necessarily make it better IMHO.
Personally, I think the green works better because of the nature of the image - while I'm sure others would say that the A/P is rarer and more a one-off piece. It's your money, so good luck!

alright phil, i think ebay is the way forward in so much as rising values and a very desirable print are concerned. also it is the quickest, easiest and truest barometer of current market value. can be hassle though but when you have something that is very, very sought after and very difficult to quantify, then it is probably the most sensible option.
