Robert Del Naja π¬π§ 3D β’ Street Artist β’ Massive Attack , by jimbofatz on Aug 1, 2018 21:57:30 GMT 1,
A lot of people on here talk about what they were told at an Art Sale or what a very close online friend told them. It's all one big game of broken telephone. The only difference is the 3D side has a mountain of evidence that 3D is involved and you offer nothing.
Why don't you just end this thread...by saying something of note. You can't. You just wrote three paragraphs of nothing --eloquently.
You edited and added to your post while I was replying, naughty boy.
I offered you nothing but the truth, Jimbo, do as you will with that.
You wrote nothing of importance and continue to do so.
Just let us know something about his identity? Or even the 'people who speak from experience'.
Is that clear enough.

... jimbo ... not too sure you have offered 'facts' other than becoming a self taught handwriting expert of two people's signature and a coincidence of a band playing in the same country or continent ...

Nah, were just happy for you to keep barking up your own tree if it makes you happy. By the way, if you look closely, 3D is actually Tricky, Portishead and Ben Collins aka The Stig.
No, Id love to hear you say the one person you TRUST that told you he isn't banksy and than you'd say...well coach told me....than coach would say well happy shopper told me ... and than happy shopper would say well strat told me....and than you be caught in an infinite loop.
So feel free to name the ONE you trust and start it off...
WOW....it's like The Daily Mail just came to life ....it's Tricky

As with everything Sincura does related to street art, the book seems to have been either an intentional ruse or an unintentional cock-up.
According to their website, a "limited, numbered, run of books will be created ready for dispatch on December 1st [2017]". [...] Once this limited edition run has sold out the books will be available on general sale through selected shops from February 2018".
As far as I am aware, none of this has happened.
I'd be interested to know if those who pre-ordered the book were refunded or are still waiting for the publication to materialise. I'd also be interested in any further information people who pre-ordered the book may have received regarding the delay in publication.

No price fixing. I bought the 'In Baghdad'. I like 3D and should've bought when they were on pow. Gonna get it framed soon.
Looking to get some pieces by Cheba, Lee Ellis and Joe Webb.

Robert Del Naja π¬π§ 3D β’ Street Artist β’ Massive Attack , by moron on Aug 3, 2018 13:03:28 GMT 1, There are no flat earthers on this forum. I'm sure some on here know who is behind Banksy and could be staying quiet for more than one reason.
If the Sweeny is still after someone for graffiti and have crime scene fotos of graf on walls and a name comes out as to who Banksy is eg Del naja etc, they could be round his gaff in their panda cars and drag him off to a magistrates court and fit him up with evidence only for the magistrate to say, that there are no complaints against Banksy for criminal damage and the Sweeny are too 1980's and should be less corrupt and go out and catch real criminals like Keith vaz etc.
Banksy is international there is one on each continent.

Robert Del Naja π¬π§ 3D β’ Street Artist β’ Massive Attack , by moron on Aug 3, 2018 13:07:30 GMT 1, 3D's work is his actual "fine art"....the banksy project is a mass marketing pop art project. Two very different projects I get why people don't like both they are for two different markets. The 3D work will be the more sought after stuff long term. Im not sure if 3D's own work will be considered anything more than basic stencils. If 3D creats a big show in his own name with his own art and creative ideas made by assistants he would definately move up a few levels.
I thought Banksy was Robert Banks?

Robert Banks and Banksy are the same person this is why people on this board hate me but yet again (I keep getting asked) so... here is the (in)famous dirty funker LP thats credited to Robert Banks and has a famous Banksy on the front. So ya not (Robin/Robbing (Gunnigham Banks) like people on here and the daily mail claim where the nick name came. It's clearly ROBERT BANKS.
Goldie also said ROBERT and won't back on it and he's been their since the start.
Robert Del Naja is clearly Banksy. I really don't get how anyone can think differently. I would love to have my mind blown and changed at this point....but not likely.

Mate your 'infamous' Dirty Funker record is just some shit tech-house chancer who (rightly) thought he could sell a few records by stealing some Banksy pictures off the internet and putting them on his sleeves. How the sticker artwork counts as evidence in your mind I have no idea!
Goldie is off his head, and the few times i've spoken to him i'm not sure he'd know his own name.
Give it a rest.

To be fair, I quite enjoy reading your rationale as to why you believe Robert del Naja to be Banksy, in the same way that I quite like reading a Dan Brown book, when I'm looking for an entertaining yarn, and not too worried about the obvious plot holes.
Do you not wonder, if del Naja genuinely was Banksy, then why haven't all of his 3D pieces, once on POW and now on eBay, along with those still available at other sources, been bought, by those who are in the know? Surely they'd make a great investment at the prices they're available for.

Robert Del Naja is clearly Banksy. I really don't get how anyone can think differently. I would love to have my mind blown and changed at this point....but not likely.
Mate your 'infamous' Dirty Funker record is just somes**t tech-house chancer who (rightly) thought he could sell a few records by stealing some Banksy pictures off the internet and putting them on his sleeves. How the sticker artwork counts as evidence in your mind I have no idea! Goldie is off his head, and the few times i've spoken to him i'm not sure he'd know his own name. Give it a rest. Y Off his head permantly or off his head having fun. I like Goldie. Boys done good

Robert Del Naja π¬π§ 3D β’ Street Artist β’ Massive Attack , by jimbofatz on Aug 3, 2018 16:56:34 GMT 1, If anyone out there is sure 3D is Banksy, you're welcome to make me an offer on this signed book. Ya you've shown this before.
Why in the hell would he write that? if it wasn't in parody. Its not like 3D is a no one and his claim to fame is being a banksy impersonator. The guy is a legend. If he turns out to be Banksy you should send that to me postage paid my love.

Because my mate that got it for me mentioned how I got into the Art and I guess the conversation evolved.

If you're still in a position where you and your mates are out punishing artists (AKA asking for autographs/selfies) as the saying goes -- everything you say is at least 2nd hand information. So just don't be so quick to judge someone else's opinion. This is not a personal attack I'm just saying this board has a serious case of broken telephone going on.

Robert Del Naja π¬π§ 3D β’ Street Artist β’ Massive Attack , by Happy Shopper on Aug 3, 2018 18:46:58 GMT 1, Do you not wonder, if del Naja genuinely was Banksy, then why haven't all of his 3D pieces, once on POW and now on eBay, along with those still available at other sources, been bought, by those who are in the know? Surely they'd make a great investment at the prices they're available for.
That's such a good point, and basically all the evidence needed.
In the same way that some people just "knew" to start queuing for Banksy prints, those people would be buying up 3D... And they're not.

Robert Del Naja π¬π§ 3D β’ Street Artist β’ Massive Attack , by Rouen Cathedral on Aug 3, 2018 18:47:13 GMT 1, At least Jimbo has reasons behind his theory. He's at least thought through some things. Whether it is true or not.
Everyone giving him grief seems fine with those that don't give the identity a second thought or say oh no one knows and it doesn't matter.
That way of thinking is much more lazy and less fruitful. Much more sad in my opinion.

To be honest people knew to queue for choose your weapon as the VIP emails went out early. At least a couple.

A queue formed outside Pictures on Walls before any formal announcement... Choose your Weapon, and I think maybe some other releases that were done that way.
