It just puts off others wanting to contribute to any of the threads. It canโt be that difficult to behave like a responsible adult. "I donโt think there is any excuse for such aggressive language regardless whether you disagree or agree." Its just swearing for fucksake.ย
No swearing? On a forum to which its very foundations lay on supporting perceived subversive/urban crime? - Oh Fiddlesticks! Will the controversy never end???

It's not just Ukraine that's at war I don't understand why people close their eyes to other countries. In Africa a lot of people are starving and they have distributed a lot of money for arms. I boycott I am neither for the Russians nor for Ukraine, I am for peace. I don't see people talking about the media who don't give a damn about us. Soon it will be read that there are no Nazis on either side. You don't appear to be "for" peace. The Ukrainian military is inside its internationally recognized borders. The Ukrainian military isn't bombing heavily-populated areas inside Russia. You muddy your argument bringing other conflicts into the discussion. None of those other conflicts could evolve into WW3, but you are acting like the West should be involved in those too - which would then allow you to say U.S's "20 wars" instead of "10". Apparently only you can have it both ways, criticize involvement and criticize lack of involvement.

If you are reading, take a good look at the photo and think Have a nice day And finally Trump is I think the only American president who did not go to war if I'm wrong I apologize I donโt normally say these things, but for Nikos76 to just come out and post this crap, I have to reply: To Nikos76โฆfrom an Americanโฆgo F yourself. if it werenโt for America, a lot of you would now be speaking German (no offense to Germans) and goose-stepping to fascists. if it werenโt for America, Russia would still be the USSR and countries like Ukraine and Georgia wouldnโt even exist as free-standing nations. But Iโll assume you are apologizing and from America, we say youโre welcomeโฆ and trump didnโt go to war because he was licking the boots of other fascists like Putin and Kim. And he pushed Syrian freedom fighters under the bus by not only withdrawing American support teams, but by limiting the supplies we gave them. I don't agree with Nikos AT ALL, but the above reading of history is so wrong that I don't know where to begin. The reason we are not "all speaking German" is because of Zhukov and the Russian army grinding the German war machine down on the Eastern Front. You only need look at the casualty figures to see that. The Western Front was a tea party in comparison. By the time of the D-Day landings the German army was in pieces; Rommel and Sepp Dietrich fought a pretty valiant campaign with what they had left, but with Hitler determined to micro-manage everything even down to the company level, the war was already lost. The USA helped tremendously in that regard, and also in supplying Britain before 1944, but the Red Army would've taken Berlin by 1946 at the latest even without the Western allies.
The USSR also began collapsing way before Reagan tried to spend it to death; it was shown up in Afghanistan as it is being in Ukraine. The bulwark against Communism in Europe was West Germany, and ironically many of the rehabilitated Nazis that made it into the post-war government. The USSR, as with all planned economies, was unable to react swiftly enough to changing needs and technological advances. Why do you think that China and Deng Xiaoping moved away from the Maoist command economy at the start of the 1980s? The USSR was already decaying; Reagan just gave it a final kick.
I get your sentiment, but you are doing yourself and the USA no favours with this sort of jingoistic clap-trap, especially when all decent historians consider it bollocks.

Yes, I could have written it better, but when someone comes outright to bash America, I wonโt stand for it. We are not perfectโฆfar from it. But more than a century, we have helped so many countries and the people found in them. Again, not perfect, but we try.
We supply countries after natural disasters, we find vaccines and cures, we support NATO and the World Bank, we give billions in aid and weaponry to countries like Ukraine.
We try. And we try again. Weโre not perfect but America is a damn fine country.
And to note on history, the US supported Britain and free-France even before we got into the war. Once we were in the war, we pushed back hitler from the brink of crossing the English Channel, we pushed Vichy France back, kicked the Naziโs out of Africa and took Mussolini out of power. Russia wasnโt involved until Hitler stupidly decided to fight a 2 front war. Yes, the casualties around Leningrad and Stalingrad (Saint Petersburg and Volgograd) were astounding because neither side wanted to give in and the massive civilian casualties, but that doesnโt count for the change in the tide when the US supported Europe and then entered the war.
As for the USSR, the earlier posting was correct that Afghanistan was their downfallโฆbut who supplied the mujahideen to drain the life and money out of the USSR? Yep, America.
And lastly, yes, we dropped two nukes on Japan. They were not going to surrender until the very lst Japanese person was dead and all the Americans (and Aussies) killed to get to that point. As horrific as those bombs were (and yes we warned days ahead to get out of town), it saved hundreds of thousands of American and Aussie lives. And ended WWII.

Being obnoxious and swearing are 2 very different subjects: The context was clearly in-regards to the latter

As horrific as those bombs were (and yes we warned days ahead to get out of town), it saved hundreds of thousands of American and Aussie lives. And ended WWII. "Once we were in the war, we pushed back hitler from the brink of crossing the English Channel" - this is just factually incorrect; Operation Sealion was cancelled as the failure of Goerring and the Luftwaffe to stop the Dunkirk evacuation meant that Britain was able to regroup. Guderian had wanted to take Dunkirk with his Panzer army but Goerring persuaded Hitler that he could stop the evacuation without ground troops. Once that failed, the British Navy was more than capable of containing the German equivalent. Hitler felt able to take on Russia as he felt (wrongly) that Churchill would sue for peace. Even if the Nazis had gained air superiority, an invasion would've been too costly.
"kicked the Naziโs out of Africa" - again, not true
"took Mussolini out of power" - Mussolini was deposed by the Fascist council and replaced by Marshall Badoglio; no American involvement there.
"that doesnโt count for the change in the tide when the US supported Europe and then entered the war." - again, factually incorrect; after Hitler foolishly decided against taking Moscow when he had the chance, and diverted to the south to try and secure the oil fields, the war was lost, as it gave Stalin the time to regroup and begin to trust his Generals again. The Soviet army lost around 9m soldiers rolling up the Eastern Front; in comparison the USA lost less than 500,000 in the West.
I'm not going to get into the argument around the atomic bombings (you're wrong there, too) as otherwise this would go on forever. Suffice to say, please read some books on the war and educate yourself around the relative prices paid by the allies. No one is saying that the USA did not help immensely, but your reading of what actually happened is just completely wrong. The Wehrmacht of 1942 would've taken and kept all of western Europe, and would easily have handled the Normandy landings. America and Britain were key members of the coalition to beat the Nazis, but without the Russians we would have lost. To say anything else is historically illiterate.

Wasn't it the soviets declaring war on Japan that was the major reason for their surrender?

"kicked the Naziโs out of Africa" - again, not true "took Mussolini out of power" - Mussolini was deposed by the Fascist council and replaced by Marshall Badoglio; no American involvement there.

The heart is easier to hang on the wall but the cutlery one feels more representative of 3D's work. On the latter, is that an eye in the mouth area? It looks like an eye but I donโt think itโs on purpose as can be seen in his similar works.

Speaking to the point that I believe was made: We can count ourselves very lucky that the US intervened (no matter timing or motives). If they hadnโt especially the aftermath would have looked very differently if only the USSR, UK and F would have been at the table when negotiating about the future of Europeโฆ I might have grown up speaking Russian
Edit: quoted the wrong part before

I use easyframe.co.uk to see what the framing would look like. You can upload your pictures then try out different framing.

The basis of this forums primary attention, Most of โhisโ work is based on anti-war propaganda
Donโt be shocked to see political โdiscussionโ
Albeit, this thread became derailed with personal attacks
I think itโs valuable to analyze these works against the current political climate.

I have lost so many nerves over this in the US! I donโt know how accurate the fraction calculations are but 60cm would be 23 5/8 in. Pictureframes.com has that fraction (5/8) in their drop down menu. It would still be a custom frame but certainly cheaper than having it done at the framers and they seem to have good offers for new customers or/and flat rate shipping.
P.s. Just follow Irelandโs example and switch to the metric system already!
