Actually the fees do matter.
It's an intermediated sale so you need to look at value for the buy AND the sell side.
In the same way there is a buyer out there who is willing to pay 6.3, there is a seller who is happy to receive 5.x for it.
So a sale without the intermediate would take both angles into account
