I'm aware that there are members here who are opposed to these kind of shows. I understand, because I used to be one of them.

But people go to these retrospective displays, and they go there in droves. They go because they want to, and they come out having enjoyed it.

This, is a good thing.

Nice way to charge a few months holiday to the business :-) 

Im missing out.

Great mural and concept but something is off here  So Adnate being strongly against the show, accepts to participate, flies to Melbourne and paints a mural promoting it ?  Of course I understand his stance but not sure doing a piece that really only promotes and makes more aware of the event he is protesting makes much sense. And love how he says "when he was first asked to be involved in the show he thought it was authorized, or put on with Bansky's permission". Really?... Anyone with even a basic knowledge of Banksy and his history knows full well these shows are not "authorized", just a cheap way to excuse participating. When one is against something and asked to participate the answer should be NO. There's no "Trojan Horse" here.

On another note, it would be hard to argue that the numerous exhibitions Laz has been putting on for years all over the world has been doing nothing but helping Banksy and his demand. These events have been exposing his works to tens of thousands of new eyes who quite possibly might not know who Banksy is or ever seen his work while giving a great opportunity for his fans as well. As Adnate says "Banksy is one of the most important artists of this lifetime" and I agree, so is helping others see this work such a bad thing?

Anyway... All that aside love the piece.
