Hey everyone, thinking about selling my framed Black Kiss by Micallef, basically because it is so large. I'll measure it properly when I get back and add dimensions but would guess it is about 15-20 cm on top of print size below, but despite a year of protestation on my part, I have finally admitted the girlfriend is right and it is too big for a tiny 2 up 2 down Victorian cottage.
Print is stunning (especially the varnish finishes) and nicely framed to archival standards. Sensational on a wall big enough to let it breathe.
Archival pigment print on hand-treated Somerset Satin 410gsm paper
100 cm x 82 cm (Print size)
Edition of 90 signed and numbered by the artist
Not too sure on price for this, but open to sensible offers. Collection only from central Cambridge (I'll make you a killer cup of coffee), due to size and my inability to drive.

It was £450 on release and the Framing was around £250, and I'd be looking to recoup that but beyond that am open to suggestions

This looks stunning but is just too large for our space, and my suggestion to buy a bigger house fell on flat ears

A judgement day sold for 2.5k and what followed was a feeding frenzy in which editions of 50 Laz prints sold out for 5k a pop and then changed hands for 7k+ on the secondary.
The now infamous impure idols release through a lack of quality, edition sizes and prices halted it all dead in its tracks.
Having said all of that its just his prints that have struggled since, his now rather magnificent originals go for 50k +

I'm not aware of any of his prints being hand finished.
I have a huge soft spot for his earlier prints. Particularly Dirty Delux.

Funnily enough I first saw his work back in 2000 at the National Portrait Gallery on a school trip and he still remains one of my favourite artists.
I am always on the lookout for 'Dirty Deluxe' (my profile pic since day dot on here) and 'Head Study 11'.
