I saw it in person a few months back in montreal, and it's beautiful but yes, super small. Even with the $ or ยฃ advantage, it's still $2000 USD. You can get a much bigger OG or HPM for about double or half that respectively.

I like this one. The perspective is different than her regular head one pieces, and there's a calm confidence to the gaze and eyes that's quite pleasing to the eye. I suspect the HPM is going to be gorgeous.

It's as if she was punched in the eyes, and is using makeup to cover it up (not that I would know what that would look like in reality or would have first hand knowledge of socking a lady in the noggin).
Maybe it was after seeing this original one from the upcoming show, that my feelings changed about it. This one appears as if she was bitten by a Walker and is just on the verge of 'turning.'

The boxes on these look so classless to me. Looks like the outside was made by Ikea. SHould have just gone White or Black. Much like the Light Box these really just don't do anything for me. Very Gimmicky.

It's gimmicky indeed. Without the 'cage', that is quite a subpar portrait. Hence you wonder why the need to pull out that cage in the first place.

Sandra Chevrier og, by Hairbland on Oct 13, 2016 14:03:09 GMT 1, I always thought the comics were to hide her community college level painting skills. I would tend to agree - a flash in the pan much like Whatson that while it might look good in one's space - no problem there, I bought the Damian Ortega show poster this summer in Malmo and will be hanging that - the long term shelf life is just not there.
"Artists" that quickly adopt gimmicks are generally looking to cash in or hang on. "Artists" whose prices are determined based on whether their print is on paper, aluminum, corroded brass or what have you rather than artistic growth and increasing demand speak for themselves.

Don't forget the other all-important signifier of 'good art' - prints that smell strongly of ink.
Oh, and of course 'hand-painted backgrounds'. It's emulsion paint cackhandedly applied with a 6" brush, ffs.
