Otherwise how did they price it at $5000 then suddenly start asking what its worth if its authentic! Happy to rinse someone for 5k on a fake, but then wants to know its actual value should it be real! Just in case they are missing out on some extra value. Sheesh

I'd certainly never do business with them, but even if something nefarious were going on, what would you like to have happen? Ban them? And then what? If their intent is to scam, they'll come back under another username and start the process again.
The best thing you can do as a buyer is to educate yourself and remember the phrase "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is".

Excuse should not be accepted but I am a quite new collector and should have paid more attention to the manner and Etiqutte of this forum.
It's all due to my lack of knowledge and resposibility I will try all my best not to make it happen again for the pricey print like KAWS one without checking the authenticity and a stable provenance.
I'd better ask for advice on authenticity on here from next time if there was any opportunity before posting a Sales Thread

Considering these retailed at $750 on kawsone back in 2006, no auction site is going to sell one at a bargain price.

The Guardians/Dan do quite a lot. Dan has banned a number of scammers over the years, but there are always way around any system - and as mentioned, vpn comes to mind.
This thread goes to show that its the members that also 'police' the forum and there are a number of members that have specific knowledge covering a wide range and varied artists.

Fake - in reply to your specific point: 'Yes, if you want to con someone you probably could, but does that mean the forum/guardians should do nothing?' The Guardians/Dan do quite a lot. Dan has banned a number of scammers over the years, but there are always way around any system - and as mentioned, vpn comes to mind. This thread goes to show that its the members that also 'police' the forum and there are a number of members that have specific knowledge covering a wide range and varied artists.
