What happened to 'Wall Art'?, by flickgc on Nov 26, 2007 19:46:13 GMT 1, Does anyone know what happened to 'Wall Art', the piece that Banksy left in the British Museum in May 2005?
Wall And Peace says that it became part of the BM's permanent collection, but I've spoken to people at the museum and been told that:
The British Museum did ask to keep it but his agent then asked if they could 'borrow' it back for an exhibition of his work and promised to return it but never did. It is certainly not in the collection.
Anyone know where it ended up?
