When I went to University in Bristol from 1999-2002 I was lucky enough to live there at a time where I could see and appreciate your work on the streets. From the Grim Reaper on the side of The Thekla, to the Mild Mild West in Stokes Croft and your B A N K S Y which adorned the side of the bridge going into the city on the M32. That one in particular always felt like an unofficial 'Welcome to Bristol' banner and I'm thankful that I lived and experienced that - among the wealth of other Bristolian street art. Sickboy even painted the inside of my Student's Union bar at Bower Ashton (as he was also a Student at that time I believe!)

I remember your art started coming off the streets and into galleries, and it all sparked my love and collection of this genre which, for me at least, was born with thanks to you.

I didn't buy your pictures at the time because for me, at £200 a pop they seemed expensive and unnecessary. I did enjoy them very much though and although I don't own much by you, your influence - or at least the influence of my formative independent years living in the wonderful city of Bristol has sparked an enjoyment for much more than just 'Urban Art', but the ability to see art in sometimes the randomest of places!

Why your next print will be only for VIP or will cost my little salary ?

Please have a grand identity unveiling event involving extreme pyrotechnics, a ramp, motorcycle and three Siberian Tigers - ultimately revealing yourself to be an unassuming octogenarian named Brad.

You'll glide through a Ring-O-Fire, tear off your hoodie and say, "My my my, ain't this a wonderful night? Hi, I'm Brad."

At which point the audience will repeat the words, "Hiiiii Braaaad," and you will then reply, "WE ARE ALL BANKSY."

I think that would be a lovely event.

Keep catering to the rich while managing to keep your image as "artist of the people".

Also, please release an open/timed signed edition print, like Faile did, for us poors that would love to display one of your works but will never have the funds. Saturating the market with a single image can't hurt the value of your other works/prints, right?

I appreciate your wit and humor and peaking my interest in the Urban art scene and the hobby in general. It is because of you that my apartment is covered in art. It's not your art, but you are too expensive for a man of meager means.There is a part of me that is jealous of others who own your works but I can appreciate Andy Warhol, without necessarily being able to afford one.

I'm not sure what Bank$y looks like these days. I imagine it looks like much like a hockey/soccer team; a coach directing the players.

I hope you and the wife are happy and healthy. I appreciate all you have given and look forward to your future work.
