Framers in DFW area?, by I Woke in Relief on Oct 27, 2016 14:59:33 GMT 1, From the KAWS thread I've noticed there are at least some members on here from the DFW area - the framer that I loved retired and now I'm looking for someone new; I've been using a framer across the country by mail (with good results), but I've got a pretty large piece, and a pretty pricey piece, so I'm on the hunt for someone local. Any suggestions?

Framers in DFW area?, by I Woke in Relief on Oct 27, 2016 15:55:39 GMT 1, They just sell the frames though, right? Like, they don't actually do the framing to my understanding (I don't see that service on their site).

Framers in DFW area?, by jayjay on Oct 27, 2016 16:46:18 GMT 1, BeauxArts in the Dallas design district does excellent high quality work at reasonable prices. I've had several pieces framed there. They strive for minimal impact mounting. They use Japanese Wheat Paste to attach prints, which is supposed be virtually reversible / non-destructive.

Framers in DFW area?, by I Woke in Relief on Nov 18, 2016 18:18:31 GMT 1, And just to follow up on this, for those of you in the area - BeauxArts did great work, with reasonable prices, and turned around 2 pieces for me in 2 weeks. Highly recommended.
