First six artists announced for Nuart's jaunt to the UK.
Fintan Magee, Herakut, Julien De Casabianca, Robert Montgomery, Nipper, Add Fuel...more to follow.
Full program of events over Easter weekend 14-17th April including film screenings (Saving Banksy), panel debates, artist presentations, street art tours and more. Brooklyn Street Art present Film Friday live at Belmont Cinema and we have a very special Nuart "Fight Club" debate, scheduled for the Friday night. Activities for kids all weekend and a kick off party with Fine Grains Records on Saturday night.

In saying that, I think your project would be much better received if it were unsanctioned. It wouldnt leave much for the viewer to consider if it were curated into a project. I imagine this would leave kids and adults alike with a sense of wonder if they stumbled across them, this would perhaps be lost as part of an official program. I guess the benefit of official/curated platforms is the costs are covered and a primed audience delivered. The negative, the change in context can seriously disempower the work. I'd go stick them around and see what happens :-)

I put one on one of the plinths outside the William Morris museum in Walthamstow in May 2016. As the whole thing is split into different departments, each department thought another was responsible for the sculpture, and didn't question it. I met someone from there organisation about a month later who explained this and she was surprised to find out it was actually graffiti. It's still there today, so clearly they are happy with it!

Saving Banksy, Beautiful Losers and a bunch of shorts at the Belmont Cinema on the 15 & 16th April.
Brooklyn Street Arts Steve & Jaime will be flying in from sunny Brooklyn to host Film Friday as well as act as guides for the Street Art tours.
We have some great speakers lined up, panel debates, artist presentations and workshops for kids.
All content, talks etc is free of charge. Nominal fee for the films.
Hope to see a few of you there, bring the kids if you have em. Shaping up to be a fun Easter Weekend.

This looks great Reader, really excited about this coming to Aberdeen. I'll be heading up to it and wondered when we can expect more detail on the talks, debates etc? Wondering whether to bring my (young) kids or not.
