They are the same size and weight, or if they are different it is imperceptible. I find it hard to believe the would remake the molds to make them smaller regardless.
My new paint looks perfect and was a bit more precise than the first batch. It seems the biggest change was the interior flocked lining of the box was removed in favor of a satin like fabric. I imagine the flocking is what causes a lot of the black marks on the first run sticking to not quite dry paint.

At this point having had NO communication with them is a bit abnormal. I would assume most people got at least one of the notifications / communications. You probably want to drop customer service a note. |

I could be mistaken, but the new lining seems much thicker than the previous lining, which may lend credence to the theory that these ones are smaller. The paint is definitely much nicer on these though. |

Anyone else with some fit and finish issues on the new batch? Look closely. I'll post a link to a pair of pics below. Basically, where the face meets the head, you can see separation/glue in there and a small crease on the top of the head, like if the face was just so slightly too big to fit in the hole of the head and they pushed and forced it to stick in there causing the small crease. It looks refurbished to me. As if they remade the head, but tried to cut corners and reused the faces of the original batch. Let me know what you guys think.
