I just picked up a The London Police original from a private seller that seems a little dirty and likely a little faded (not much I can do on that account I reckon but se la vie). My question is how should I go about cleaning it or having it cleaned, and should I frame it with some UV plexus to keep it from fading further. I've been in contact with Monk from TLP about getting a COA for it and having Chaz sign it since it's about 10 years old and apprently they didn't sign or supply COAs when they were first starting out in Amsterdam. Any advice would be appreciated.

I can't help in any way for your request but I can tell you that "It's life" is translated by "C'est la vie" in French

Cleaning Canvas Paintings, by bustart on Dec 1, 2016 10:25:02 GMT 1, there are extra frames for canvases if you put one over it backwards it would cover the side and corners sounds strange looks not so bad.... if you want it signed by chaz just see him at a show or event i am sure he is happy to sign it for you. or you send it to me and i handle this for you when i see him next time..

Thanks for the offer, but I'm hoping TLP has a show in Los Angeles sooner than later so I don't have to ship it again (the initial shipping was a little dodgy but it came out alright. I'm still waiting on The Monk to get me a COA for it since the piece is from a time where they didn't do COAs. Though I think Chaz has been away from Amsterdam in Bogata and now in Miami for Scope so I'm good with it taking a bit to come in since I don't know of he's been back since I sent over the pictures Monk asked for. |
