i have a set all framed the same as this but only Applause still on wall. Dont think that ive ever had all 6 hung at the same time, think I managed 5 at one point.

Rather than put them back in their sleeves, itโs time to find the prints a new home.
So, I will consider splitting it up & selling as individual prints or multiples.

6 signed sets (all printerโs proofs) I understand. Story goes is that some prints disappeared before the show (likely Laz took and presold or gave to VIPS) or something sleazy like that. They requested Modern Multiples to recreate the missing prints and MM wanted to be paid for the job and held the screens hostage until paid. I donโt think Laz paid them the full 30k US or whatever it was and Laz pulled the plug on it and POW did the rest. I have had a print from each publisher and theyโre a bit different.
Duardo at MM printed for decades where as Eine etc at POW didnโt have nearly as much experience. MM images read a bit better than the POW version.
I hear that the relationship soured and Banksy didnโt want to sign the PPโs and Duardo chased him down at LAX and pulled them out of a trunk. You gotta think, MM has been around and people havenโt come forward with a claim like that before. Laz probably theived or gave prints away without paying.

Donโt do it! Too rare. Auction them. Donโt break them up. Consign to a Gallery instead of DIY. Some serious buyers here, but mostly lookers. You have options. So few are left in tact. Let a Gallery or auction house do it instead of breaking them up. Established galleries and auction houses will have greater visibility, traffic, marketing, client list and a more financially capable crowd than a forum bulletin board. Let professionals handle it?

Applause is an excellent print. Unsigned still sell for thousands of pounds each.
