I'm unsure why you would consider requesting supporting evidence from someone offering what is, in effect, financial advice to be my 'thinking he knows it all' as I absolutely do not think I know it all. What I am seeking to do is help the guy who posted the question, and any others reading this thread, by requesting evidence for your suggested price.
You may not realise, may not believe it, and may not be guilty of it, but the art market is being played, people are being exploited, and prices being manipulated every single day therefore I would suggest it to be in the interest of this community that, when discussing prices, transparency and clarity are paramount. Unqualified advice such as 'No. £8k' should as per any unqualified information be treated with, at best, caution but, really, should be ignored.
As for 'essays' well that's just me treating you with more respect than perhaps you deserve by attempting to maintain discourse at an adult, rather than playground, level.

Now, you could have responded by offering prices of recent sales of that print or even 'it's just a hunch' but instead you've acted like a scolded child, throwing insults and sarcasm around with quite some abandon. A Signed Edition of 46
I bought this in early 2015 from a well-respected member of this forum (Wenters). Framed and hung in my baby daughters nursery, to be handed on to her. Unfortunately needs must, times are hard and we need to buy a house so need to liquidate some assets. I will, however, buy another one in the future, no doubt costing more but she'll get her rat back !!
The print was framed by John Jones, in London, float mounted, using Japanese hinges. You can see a slight shadow of the hinges in a certain light but I have been advised by, again, a well-respected dealer on this forum, that it should only need a press, if ever removed.
I have shown a photo of the print prior to framing for clarity.
I am based in Chichester, near Portsmouth, and would prefer a face to face within reasonable distance.
Was unsure what price to put on it, but having spoken to a number of dealers/galleries, offering early 30's to buy as is, I would think at least £35,000+ would seem reasonable for a private sale. I'm sure I'll be told otherwise if I'm way off !!
PM if interested, low-ballers welcome, but may not get a reply, but I'll take the rough with the smooth !
Those in the know, realise how seldom these prints come into circulation.
