And I think perhaps it's a bit rude to go onto an artist's social media thing and critique their work or them. Public forums are one thing, but their sites are their space. And when they're trying to work or it's their livelihood, it'd be a bit like going into M&S and causing a scene over the price of the cauliflowers.
You completely misunderstood me. No where did I state that I commented or critiqued their work. I simple stated that I thought it was funny the things people said. Maybe I'm reading you comment wrong or you read mine wrong.

No worries my friend. I'm not a fan of this release and it seems that most on here aren't either. But when you look at their instgram people are praising it. I get that art is subjective so I don't knock them. The best comparison I can give is a Mr. Brainwash release. I dislike his work very much but the comments people leave like, "Oh my gosh you are the best!" Or "You're the next Banksy" blows my mind.
Granted dface is on another level than Mr. B. I simple have a chuckle.

There were some people who are wishing D*Face would move in a different direction and although he has done a few limited releases similar to this with regards to using the 'Brushstrokes' theme I don't know if this qualifies as a different direction, because it is still very Lichtensteinesque. I think it does add something to his portfolio and obviously isn't the same old thing. Some hit, some miss I think this one is right in the middle.
PS. I did like the VNA/DFace 'Riot' scarf , so I did pick that up. Thought it would go well with a Santa shirt and hat for Christmas.
