Thanks, yeah definitely. I was just wondering, because it's a giclee and it would be helpful to see what the quality and handfinished elements look like before purchasing it. I wouldn't mind so much if it was $50, but at $400, I start to care about quality...the original looks smashing though.

They are all handfinished, no? That was my understanding, from what hoca told me and from the picture of him embellishing the prints, it seemed like he was well beyond the first 5 prints. |

Audrey Kawasaki
She doesnt seem to get much love on this forum - but - She is certainly an important artist from the perspective of her early adoption of using technology to go straight to customers - she used blogs and website very early on etc. She has created a large and loyal fan base. Her artwork is very good whether you like the style or not.. She probably does just enough outdoor work to classify her as a contemporary urban artists although i doubt she is ever painting illegally but does paid walls,etc.
stolen from the first web page i found on wikipedia - "Audrey Kawasaki is a Los Angeles-based painter, known for her distinctive, erotically charged portrayals of young, adolescent women. Her works are oil paintings painted directly onto wood panels, and her style has been described as a fusion of Art Nouveau and Japanese manga, with primary influences like Gustav Klimt"
lastly she does everything from open editions to low editions to originals so if you like her work you can get in at almost any price point.

I wrote them, and they have no problems shipping to other countries as well, and I finally got a print from Shohei.
Anyway, just wanted to share the link in here, there is a ton of beautiful artwork to be had.
