Hmmm cynical view, but just an observation. I like dface and I still like the Roy-style he's still going with but something about this print stinks and I can't put my finger on it. Not sure if it's the framing or proportions but it looks all wrong and like it's been rushed. It's disappointing to say the least, and I consider myself a dface fan. Think some are gonna get their fingers burned trying to flip this for a whole load of nothing
I think there are just more strands to his style than he often gets credit for, when he focuses on a certain strand it divides opinion, and his best work combines them all.

Showed the image to the other half and she said 'what on earth is all that about' did he have a bad childhood!!!
Safe to say that the only place I would put this would be in one of my offices and its not going to happen... plus I am not a big fan of day releases without specific time.... looks like a surefire way of making the disappointment last all day!

It's my interpretation that "'till death do us part" is a reference to Britain's EU membership, and its legal obligations (vows) towards the EU and the other member states (the marriage).
The artist might be using the skeletons to represent that the partners are already dead (perhaps without even knowing it) or that the partners will be as good as dead once the partnership ends.

Perhaps missing something, but this image, don't get it, poorly executed and certainly not something I'd want to display. Am a fan of his early stuff, but this, not for me.

To be honest, when I first laid eyes on this, I liked it, but as my eyes focussed, I ended up disliking it. It's OK. For the price I'd rather something more substantial. At least I won't have to sit around all day and compete with people quicker than me to buy this thing

D*Face did quite a lot of stuff before the Lichtenstein period, probably his best and certainly most original, which is what made him prominent in the scene

Maybe it's the lack of detail/depth that prints of his have had, like Suckface. Maybe it's that the proportions of the skulls are off; the lower jaw's are MASSIVE. Or it's that the skulls look like a totally different drawing style then other skull related pieces. Say what you will about Union Jacked, but at least (IMO) it had complexity and was well thought out in its composition.
