This bas-relief is based on an ink drawing by Parra from 2014. The sculptures premiered at Parraโs solo show โI canโt look at your face anymoreโ earlier this year at Ruttkowski;68 Germany.

"The Hanging Garden" sculpture by Parra, by natstan on Dec 29, 2016 2:51:26 GMT 1, I was offered a chance to buy something similar during his mid-year show and it was an edition of 8. Tempted but a lot of money!
From the email reply:
"These were exhibited in Parra's latest solo show at Ruttkowski gallery in Cologne.
Here is some info of this edition.

Resin / Fiberglass
price โฌ2200 excl. vat"

A simple knock out of that small area and it really transforms it entirely. Just a thought.

But she's being held up by the waistband of her dress, right? The blank space wouldn't make sense in context. (And it would look less vaginal - I'm assuming that effect is intentional)
