Gold Stef, by paulypaul on Sept 12, 2007 15:28:34 GMT 1, Edition of 8 and silvers selling for £150ish on Ebay. Seems reasonable. Which is worrying. This whole print thing skews your perception of what is reasonable...

Gold Stef, by pezlow on Sept 12, 2007 15:34:00 GMT 1, £50.
I am not saying it isn't worth it but just that it is a big price hike from his other prints and compared to his canvasses. Good luck to stef though - he is obviously doing well for himself and is a top guy.

In fairness robber stef has been selling his stuff to the UK for quite some time. Most of the silver TIYL were sold to people on the old banksy ebay forum where stef was a mod.

Gold Stef, by rob123rob on Sept 12, 2007 16:49:37 GMT 1, But why sell only to UK is the question? When he needed to sell stuff, when they were sitting around on his website for weeks, anyone in the world could buy them....now the tides have changed slightly and its a UK only deal? I guess im frustrated because I was suitable, it seems, to be allowed to buy several of his prints and a canvas back before there was a fight for them, but now that they are hot, its back to UK only. Just silly toying around with supply/demand I guess. Oh well. I still think it's a great image and everything I've every bought from Stef is top notch. Just wanted this one too

Robber, I understand your frustration but have you tried emailing him? As you know he's good with communications so why not ask him for the reason.

Gold Stef, by rob123rob on Sept 12, 2007 17:24:24 GMT 1, Got a message back from Stef.. He explained that it was more a logisitics thing, and that since he only had 8 and couldn't print off more for replacements, he didn't want to risk sending them overseas. Great guy, and i appreciate his answer. You kids are lucky in the UK with this one

Gold Stef, by goffy on Sept 12, 2007 23:31:50 GMT 1, I think I have come across more people in the U.S. who don't ship to the U.K. than the other way around. It's a pity either way.
