Wrapped it in loads of bubble wrap, and I mean a lot! Then wrapped all the way round tightly with parcel tape to compress it.
Arrived with no problems.
I use wedelivertheworld.com for shipping.

Shipping to the states. , by sircoxson on Jan 12, 2017 11:15:24 GMT 1, I used mailboxes for sending art to the states. they did everything for me: picking up the pieces at my place, packaging, customs stuff etc. as far as I know they use fedex, so it's also very fast. not cheap, though...

Wedelivertheworld is just a middleman, you choose the company you wish to use. I always go with FedEx or UPS.
Just wrap it up really well and insure it for the correct value.

If your deck is way beyond that then go for flight logistics. They will package it up properly, but it will cost you.
