Mark Wagner is a collage artist who uses as his source material US currency. He deconstructs $1 dollar bills by the thousands, and builds up images from the most miniscule elements of detail from the bills, George Washington is ever present as the main character, in various forms, both altered and unaltered, which lends familiarity, humor, playfulness, and provocation.

Wagner has partnered with BGFA to produce a limited edition print of his image “Self Styled” as a 2 color letterpress print, produced in Chicago by Process Process, and published by BGFA.

All prints will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a publisher’s documentation certificate in digital (PDF) form,
