JUICE recently announced an assortment of exclusive items that will be released at its Los Angeles pop-up location this week. Among the drops this week is CLOTโs โNew Age Ethnicโ 2017 spring/summer Camo Brick collection. The collection is crafted in Japan and each garment is constructed of stitched together camo brick patches. Additionally, a limited number of the elusive and extremely rare Medicom Toy KAWS Companion will be released at the location this week. Don't support them. They're making collecting Kaws work a nightmare, and people are being ripped off with fakes flooding the market.

So my initial question was more on what tell signs would give them away. Only those equipped with real ones or having felt the quality might be able to tell the difference.

That's why I picked up one of the new, smaller Open Editions. Because at least I know it's legit even if it's not so rare... and better than a bootleg!

The Kaws thread on the Kid Robot Forum is very useful... but I'd still not risk buying an original 5YL companion, unless it was a trusted seller (forum member who had it from new). That's why I picked up one of the new, smaller Open Editions. Because at least I know it's legit even if it's not so rare... and better than a bootleg! |

And the lower prices will also mean more people can afford to own a piece, and leads to getting one even harder, and people will complain again why is that so difficult to buy one when it's supposed to be an open ed.
Human beings are darn hard to please...
